Your hosts are
Dennis Ternes and Vicki Cosgrove Ternes
We moved to B.C. several years ago,
Planning to undertake something new,
And thought to escape frigid winters at last,
Quipped a friend: “How’s that working out for you?”
Yes, the elevation means we do still get some cold,
But it’s tempered by the place that we chose,
A timber frame home overlooking the lake,
You don’t find many of those!
This property fulfilled our retirement dreams,
And suited our plans to a ‘T’,
15 acres, 5 bedrooms and space for equines,
Can you spell ‘B’, ‘B’, and ‘B’?

Our Name
TIMBER is for the old growth fir,
That forms the bones of our handcrafted home,
And the plethora of volcanic rock we have,
Gives rise to the inclusion of STONE.
RIDGE, from the geologic ledge upon which our property sits,
Hence, TIMBERSTONE RIDGE became our name,
Chosen because it fits!
